Nurses on a Mission 2020 Our 7th medical mission trip
On March 5, 2020 we will be making our 7th Nurses on a Mission trip to the Domincan Republic! I don't think any of us on the original trip in 2014 thought we would still be going strong in 2020. This year we are a team of 18: 13 student nurses, 4 RNs and a building contractor who becomes a pharmacist in our clinics. This year, once again, we will do 4 days of medical clinics. We plan to see 300 people the 1st day and 400 people on days 2,3,and 4. We have raised money to buy medication and supplies by selling DR coffee and MudLove bracelets. We are having a Yard Sale on February 8th. The team has done a great job raising money and our community has been very generous. Our local hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN , has partnered with us every year and has donated much needed medication. We truly appreciate their generous support.
